Including assessing, developing and utilizing marine renewable energy sources such as wind, hydrogen, solar, wave, and thermal gradient energy, to create a clean, low-carbon, and efficient energy system for ocean applications.

03 海洋新材料 Ocean New Materials

研發(fā)海洋/海水環(huán)境下高性能（抗腐蝕、抗高壓、抗高溫等極端環(huán)境）材料；海洋結(jié)構(gòu)材料（金屬材料、混凝土材料與復(fù)合材料等）；海洋功能材料（納米材料、高效過(guò)濾材料、電解材料等）及其應(yīng)用技術(shù)。

Develops high-performance materials (resistant to corrosion, high pressure, high temperature, and other extreme conditions); develop ocean structural materials (including metals, concrete, and composite materials); also develop functional materials (nanotechnology, filtration, and electrolysis) with applications.

04 海洋工程與技術(shù) Ocean Engineering and Technology

研發(fā)新型海上作業(yè)平臺(tái)、水下潛航器、高性能船艇、地效飛行器、智能海洋捕撈裝備等海洋高端裝備；以及海岸工程、深海資源開(kāi)發(fā)技術(shù)、移動(dòng)浮島、人工造島、柔性管道、浮式隧道等海洋工程結(jié)構(gòu)的技術(shù)。

Research includes advanced ocean equipment such as new offshore platforms, intelligent ocean fishing equipment, underwater vehicles, mobile floating platform and islands, high-performance boats, and ground-effect aircraft; intelligent coastal engineering, including artificial island construction, flexible pipelines, floating tunnels and other ocean engineering technologies.

05 海洋科學(xué)與技術(shù) Ocean Science and Technology

以海洋系統(tǒng)科學(xué)為核心，融合海洋科學(xué)基礎(chǔ)研究（含物理海洋學(xué)、海洋化學(xué)、海洋生物、海洋地質(zhì)與地球物理學(xué)）與海洋工程技術(shù)應(yīng)用，培養(yǎng)海洋領(lǐng)域復(fù)合型人才。

Centered on marine systems science, we integrate fundamental research in marine sciences (including physical oceanography, marine chemistry, marine biology, marine geology, and geophysics) with applied marine engineering technology, to cultivate interdisciplinary talents in the field of marine studies.

06 人工智能 Artificial Intelligence

聚焦人工智能技術(shù)賦能海洋裝備制造、海洋能源開(kāi)發(fā)、海洋生命健康、海洋科學(xué)研究等全場(chǎng)景應(yīng)用。

Concentrate on AI-enabled applications across the entire marine domain, including marine equipment manufacturing, ocean energy development, marine life and health, and marine scientific research.

01 教學(xué)科研系列和研究系列：

1.教學(xué)科研系列包括講席教授（頂尖科學(xué)家、院士等）、教授、副教授、助理教授，按“準(zhǔn)聘-長(zhǎng)聘”方式聘用；

2.研究序列包括研究教授、研究副教授、研究助理教授。

The recruitment positions are divided into two tracks：

the "Teaching and Research Track" and the "Research Track".

1. The Teaching and Research Track includes chair professors (top leading scientists, academicians, etc.), professors, associate professors, and assistant professors, all on a tenure-track basis.

02 依托南科大海高院/深圳海洋大學(xué)（籌）申報(bào)2026年海外優(yōu)青項(xiàng)目：

注：具體要求以2026年正式通知為準(zhǔn)

1. 遵守中華人民共和國(guó)法律法規(guī)，具有良好的科學(xué)道德，自覺(jué)踐行新時(shí)代科學(xué)家精神；

2. 出生日期在1986年1月1日（含）以后；

3. 具有博士學(xué)位；

4. 研究方向主要為自然科學(xué)、工程技術(shù)等；

5. 在取得博士學(xué)位后，一般應(yīng)在海外高校、科研機(jī)構(gòu)、企業(yè)研發(fā)機(jī)構(gòu)獲得正式教學(xué)或者科研職位，且具有連續(xù)36個(gè)月以上工作經(jīng)歷；在海外取得博士學(xué)位且業(yè)績(jī)特別突出的，可適當(dāng)放寬工作年限要求（不適用于通過(guò)中外聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)方式取得海外博士學(xué)位的情況）。在海外工作期間，同時(shí)擁有境內(nèi)帶薪酬職位的申請(qǐng)人，其境內(nèi)帶薪酬職位的工作年限不計(jì)入海外工作年限；

6. 取得同行專家認(rèn)可的科研或技術(shù)等成果，且具有成為該領(lǐng)域?qū)W術(shù)帶頭人或杰出人才的發(fā)展?jié)摿Γ?/span>

Applicants of Science Fund Program for Distinguished Young Scholars (Overseas) should met the following conditions:

1. Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, have good scientific ethics, and consciously practice the spirit of scientists in the new era;

2. was born on or after January 1st, 1986;

3. have obtained a doctorate degree;

4. research directions are mainly natural sciences, engineering technology, etc.;

5. The applicant should have obtained a formal teaching or research position in an overseas university, scientific research institution, or corporate research and development institution, and have more than 36 months of continuous work experience; for those who have obtained a doctorate degree overseas and have particularly outstanding performance, the limitation of work experience may be appropriately relaxed. This relaxation does not apply to those who obtained their overseas Ph.D. through joint training programs between Chinese and foreign institutions；

6. Demonstrate research or technological achievements acknowledged by peers, showing the potential as a leading figure or outstanding talent in the chosen field;

7. Have never worked full-time in China or did not work in China until January 1, 2025; Successful applicants must resign from overseas employment upon funding notification, committing to full-time work in China for a minimum of 3 years.

（4）生活配套：協(xié)助辦理人才及配偶、子女深圳戶口或外籍來(lái)華工作居留許可；協(xié)助辦理廣東省“人才優(yōu)粵卡”和深圳市“鵬城優(yōu)才卡”，享受廣東省及深圳市提供的人才安居、醫(yī)療保健、子女入學(xué)、配偶就業(yè)等人才配套服務(wù)。

Since its establishment, SUSTech has been proactively fostering a globally competitive compensation system, offering an extensive array of benefits and perks, and creating an enabling research environment. Individuals chosen for the Program will assume teaching-research positions at SUSTech and benefit from the supportive conditions provided, including but not limited to:

1. Position

Typically, successful applicants will be designated as an Associate Professor with eligibility for doctoral student supervision.

2. Compensation and Benefits

(1) Compensation: Globally competitive salary with eligibility for personal income tax benefits within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

(2) Comprehensive benefits: Five Insurances and One Fund (social insurances and housing provident fund) at the highest standards in Shenzhen; commercial supplementary medical insurance and premium commercial medical insurance covering the Greater China region; Shenzhen-standard annuity;

(3) Personal grants: We will assist you in applying for relevant talent programs in alignment with national, provincial, and municipal talent plans. If successfully selected, you will receive stipulated grants or other financial support, up to a maximum of CNY 1,930,000.

3. Research Support

(1) Research funding:Iincluding national, provincial, and municipal support, subject to government policies and selection outcomes. Special cases will be assessed separately on a case-by-case basis.

(2) Team support: Collaborative formation of research teams as needed. Two postdoctoral positions are provided with 60% funding support from the university. Unlimited recruitment of postdoctoral researchers using self-owned research funds. Support is also extended for graduate student quota allocation based on the university’s graduate enrollment management methods and departmental requirements. Autonomous recruitment of research-oriented faculty and research-teaching assistants is allowed.

(3) Office conditions: Office and laboratory spaces are provided to meet research needs. The interim campus located at Dapeng Bio-Home is available for immediate use. The new campus of Shenzhen Ocean University is scheduled to be fully completed in 2026, which will feature more ample research space.

4.Living Conditions

(1) Housing benefits: Eligible candidates may apply for talent housing located near the campus of Shenzhen Ocean University in Dapeng New District. A 3-year rent-free period is offered, followed by rental at preferential prices in accordance with government regulations after the three years.

(2) Children's education: The Southern University of Science and Technology Education Group (Nanshan) comprises 4 public schools under the administration of Nanshan District, including 1 9-year consistent-system affiliated experimental school (covering primary and junior high education) and 3 member primary schools.In terms of preschool education, there are currently 2 public kindergartens available: the Affiliated Kindergarten of Southern University of Science and Technology in Nanshan District and the Keyuan Early Childhood Center of Nanshan District, Shenzhen (located on the university campus).Assistance will be provided for the enrollment of faculty and staff's children spanning from kindergarten to senior high school, subject to the availability of school places and compliance with Shenzhen's admission policies for kindergartens and schools.

(3) Medical services: Our faculty and staff can access medical services at our 4 affiliated hospitals, 2 co-built hospitals, and 4 teaching hospitals in Shenzhen.

(4) Living support: We will support your application for Shenzhen hukou (household registration) or residence permits for you, your spouse, and children, along with facilitating the acquisition of the “You Yue Talent Card” (Guangdong provincial-level talent card) and the “Shenzhen Talent Pass.” These cards offer access to specialized services catering to talents, covering housing, healthcare, children’s education, and spouse employment, all provided by Guangdong Province and Shenzhen.

The Advanced Institute for Ocean Research (AIOR), Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), was officially established on December 27, 2023, marking a key step in the efficient implementation of the preparatory work for Shenzhen Ocean University. It serves as an important platform for attracting high-end talents in the marine field and undertakes key tasks such as talent recruitment, talent cultivation, discipline construction, industry-university cooperation, project incubation, major project application, and major platform construction during the preparatory period of Shenzhen Ocean University (SOU).
