01、學(xué)院介紹

清華大學(xué)環(huán)境學(xué)科可追溯至1928年國(guó)立清華大學(xué)設(shè)立的市政工程系，1977年建立我國(guó)第一個(gè)環(huán)境工程專(zhuān)業(yè)，1984年獲批組建獨(dú)立建制的環(huán)境工程系，1997年發(fā)展為環(huán)境科學(xué)與工程系，2011年成立環(huán)境學(xué)院。在我國(guó)環(huán)境工程學(xué)科奠基人陶葆楷先生和幾代清華環(huán)境人努力下，清華大學(xué)環(huán)境學(xué)院持續(xù)保持國(guó)內(nèi)領(lǐng)先優(yōu)勢(shì)，國(guó)際影響力持續(xù)提升，連續(xù)六年QS學(xué)科排名位居世界前十，已成為我國(guó)重要的環(huán)境保護(hù)高層次人才培養(yǎng)基地和高水平科學(xué)研究中心。

近年來(lái)，環(huán)境學(xué)院牽頭建設(shè)區(qū)域環(huán)境安全全國(guó)重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室、空地一體環(huán)境感知與智能響應(yīng)研究平臺(tái)（區(qū)域復(fù)合污染控制、跨介質(zhì)大科學(xué)裝置）、清華蘇州環(huán)境創(chuàng)新研究院（高新科技產(chǎn)業(yè)化）等重要科研基地，為學(xué)院教師面向國(guó)家重大需求和世界前沿研究提供理想平臺(tái)。

03、Job Description

SOE invites applications for full-time, tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at Full Professor level. The appointments are expected to begin on January, 2027 or thereafter.

The faculty search aligns with the strategic directions of the SOE and recognition of the need for addressing critical societal challenges facing the environment and sustainability. Applicants are expected to have demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and professional development. The successful candidates will be expected to develop and maintain an innovative and independent research with international reputation and external funding support. The candidates will also be involved in undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring to support the SOE’s education mission.

Applicants for Full Professor positions are expected to be global leaders in their respective fields. Successful candidates will develop and lead internationally recognized research programs aligning with one or more of the SOE’s strategic directions.

04、Qualifications

·         Candidates must have a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering or a related field at date of hire.

·         Fluent in Chinese is NOT a prerequisite. All research, teaching, and service activities can be conducted in English.

·         We seek ideal candidates who have the commitment and capacity to stay at the research forefront or who are emerging as the most influential figures in their fields.
