The main responsibilities include (1) Application System Maintenance and Operations -Providing daily support and administration of key campus systems, including course management, student enrollment, and academic records. -Managing system configurations, updates, and routine maintenance to ensure application stability and optimal performance. -Overseeing data imports and exports, such as course schedules, student enrollment records, and faculty assignments. -Maintaining user access rights and permissions, ensuring secure and appropriate system usage. (2) Issue Diagnosis and Recording -Investigating and resolving application-related issues reported by faculty, staff, and students. -Document troubleshooting procedures, known issues, and resolutions for future reference. (3) User Support and Training -Assisting faculty and administrative staff with system-related inquiries and operational guidance. -Developing and maintaining user manuals, FAQs, and training materials to enhance self-service support. -Conducting training sessions for end-users on system functionalities and best practices. (4) System Enhancement and Continuous Improvement -Collaborating with developers and IT teams to test new features and system enhancements. -Identifying and proposing improvements to application workflows and user experience. -Monitoring system performance and usage patterns to recommend optimizations. -Participating in system upgrade projects, including testing and deployment.

Required Education and Experience -Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. -Hands-on experience with application administration, like ERP, student information systems, or teaching management systems. Preferred Experience and Skills -Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting. -Understanding of system integration methods (API, web services, ETL processes). -Experience in application support, IT operations or similar role, experience working in an academic IT environment is preferred.
