1. Student Engagement and Informal Learning
(1) Develop and deliver a variety of structured and informal co-curricular programs that enhance residential life and experiential learning.
(2) Partner with faculty, staff, and students to bridge academic and extracurricular pursuits, fostering holistic student growth and engagement.
(3) Monitor students' academic progress and provide support as necessary in partnership with academic advisors who are faculty members of Hubs/Colleges.
(4) Reinforce compliance with academic and undergraduate regulations and procedures, maintaining university standards.
2. Administration and Leadership
(1) Manage the College's administration, including training, coaching, and leading both residential and non-residential faculty and staff, in collaboration with other RC Masters.
(2) Formulate, implement, review, and enhance policies and operating procedures within the College in alignment with the University Policy Framework.
(3) Oversee the performance of the RC operational system by fostering effective partnerships with other campus units, academic advisors, personal tutors, and peer buddies. Ensure that these setups are fit for purpose while providing guidance and constructive feedback to the University for continuous improvement.
(4) Plan and manage the College's operating budget and financial operations.
(5) Address and manage crisis situations effectively within the College.
3. Community Building and Welfare
(1) Strengthen the affiliation among residents with the University, fostering a sense of pride and belonging.
(2) Collaborate with university planners to design spaces that are functional, innovative, and reflect the diversity of the student body, supporting both social and academic needs.
(3) Design and implement initiatives that enhance student well-being and support their overall welfare.
(4) Champion a multicultural community by organizing events that celebrate global perspectives (e.g., cultural festivals, language exchanges)

1. A master’s degree or above is required. A PhD degree will be an advantage.
2.A passionate advocate for student growth, committed to fostering a nurturing and dynamic living and learning environment.
3.Rich life experiences, ideally with expertise in areas including but not limited to arts, drama, music, sports, or scientific fields etc. Familiarity with academic environment is a plus.
4.High integrity and a sincere desire to positively impact the lives of students within the College.
5.Exemplary leadership skills, with a strong sense of teamwork and the ability to model positive behaviour.
6.A commitment to reside within the Residential College, maintaining close ties with the student community and actively engaging in college life.

This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST(GZ) entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations.
